Position Description: Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Representative / Trucking Administrator to support daily operations within our transportation department. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, assisting customers, and ensuring accurate documentation to keep freight moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and enter new shipments into the system accurately and efficiently
Answer inbound customer and driver calls in a professional and timely manner
Prepare and type freight manifests and related shipping documentation
Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with customers, warehouses, and facilities
Communicate shipment updates and resolve basic service issues
Maintain organized records of shipments and documentation
Provide general administrative support to dispatch and operations teams
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or transportation/trucking administration preferred
Strong data entry and typing skills with attention to detail
Excellent phone and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
