Job Overview

The Institute of Knowledge (IOK) is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry professional to join our team. Based in Los Angeles, California, United States, this is a Full-Time position. IOK is a dynamic educational organisation offering a wide range of Islamic programmes, including a WASC accredited school, seminaries, and chaplaincy services to foster a finer future for our community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data, supporting our mission to connect individuals with high-quality Islamic resources. The salary for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

* Accurately input and update data from various sources, including student enrolment forms, course registrations, and community event records, into our databases.
* Perform regular data verification and cleansing to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain the confidentiality and security of all student and institutional information.
* Generate reports and retrieve data for various departments as requested.
* Identify and correct data entry errors, reporting any system or data integrity issues to management.
* Support administrative staff with tasks related to data management and record-keeping.
* Uphold data management policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar administrative position.
* Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a high level of attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel.
* Familiarity with databases and data management software.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Experience within an educational or non-profit organisation is desirable but not essential.
