Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Duties
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries
- Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, editing, and correspondence
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Support customer service efforts by responding to client inquiries and providing support as needed
- Provide general office management support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Respond to customer emails on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart
- Manage and resolve Amazon and eBay customer cases
- Process and generate shipping labels for marketplace orders
- Answer incoming calls from customers and manufacturers
- Contact manufacturers to obtain ETAs on products
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or customer service roles
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, data entry, filing systems, and calendar management preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail for proofreading and document accuracy
- Demonstrated professionalism with good phone etiquette and customer support capabilities
- Previous experience as a receptionist, personal assistant, medical receptionist, or dental receptionist is advantageous
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
