Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk-Type-in to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Enter data swiftly and accurately into databases, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and other software platforms
- Maintain and update records with attention to detail, ensuring all information is current and correct
- Transcribe handwritten or audio data into digital formats with high accuracy
- Organize files systematically through filing systems, both physical and electronic, to facilitate easy retrieval
- Collect data from various sources, verifying its completeness before entry
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, perform basic math calculations, and generate reports as needed
- Support order entry processes by inputting purchase orders and tracking shipments efficiently
- Assist with data collection projects by compiling information into organized formats for analysis
- Demonstrate strong office skills including typing speed, clerical experience, and proficiency with computer applications
Experience
- Proven clerical or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed
- Familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel functionalities such as pivot tables
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for data verification and calculations during entry processes
- Experience with filing systems—both digital and physical—ensuring proper document management
- Office experience that includes transcription, order processing, or data collection activities is highly desirable
