Program: Energy Assistance Programs
Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Reports To: Director of Energy
Supervisory: N/A
Position Summary: The Data Entry Clerk supports program operations by accurately entering, updating, and maintaining client and program data in agency empower data system and OHEP. This position ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with federal, state, and Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) requirements.
Essential Duties: Ability to exercise independent judgement to plan and prioritize tasks. Perform data audits and validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy. Assist program staff with intake documentation and file preparation. Track application status and update records accordingly. Answer phones, respond to basic client inquiries, and route calls appropriately. Support special projects and data clean-up initiatives as assigned.
Typing Test Requirement: To help us assess your data entry skills, please complete a 5-minute typing test and upload your results with your application. Test must be from (Typing.com), no other site. Your results must include speed (WPM) and accuracy Test must have been taken within 72 hours of submission.
Requirements:
Minimum Education - High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Qualifications - Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry, administrative, or clerical experience. Experience in a nonprofit or human services environment preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
