JOB TITLE: Data Enter Clerk

GENERAL JOB DISCRIPTION
Duties will be but not limited to:
Sorting and inputting trip sheets and fuel receipts into database efficiently and correctly.
Run reports and provide department assistance or complete tasks as assigned by department manager.
Communicate to clients with respect and professionalism using clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Complete work with attention to detail using precise handling of tasks, data, updating multiple Excel spreadsheets and records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with clients with respect and professionalism.
Sort Trip Sheets by unit number and date order to prepare for inputting.
Enter trip sheets, spreadsheets, fuel receipts, fuel reports as provided.
Know, understand and have access to the filing system for each client.
Keep account files up to date and in order
Keep Excel spreadsheets current and up to date for each client and the fuel tax department.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
KEY COMPETENCIES
Basic understanding of computers and office procedures, filing, etc.
Basic understanding of math (addition and subtraction)
Basic understanding of where states are located
Ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting or standing while working at a desk for long periods of time.
Continual computer work.
Able to lift 5 to 10 lbs. boxes
