We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain information in our computer systems using a Windows-based environment. The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and comfortable working with Microsoft Office and other data management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, and company systems
- Use Windows-based computers and applications to manage daily data entry tasks
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Maintain digital files and records in an organized manner
- Generate basic reports as required
- Follow company data security and confidentiality policies
- Communicate with supervisors or team members regarding data discrepancies
- Perform general clerical duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role (preferred)
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy
- Basic understanding of databases and data management
- Attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative or office support roles
- Familiarity with data entry software or ERP systems
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills
