ReadyWork seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Operations Support team. Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into multiple databases, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage order entry processes efficiently, verifying details and processing transactions promptly.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of documents and records.
- Conduct data collection activities by gathering information from various sources and inputting it into designated platforms.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, analyze data sets, and generate reports that support operational decision-making.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and transcribing information as needed.
- Support office operations through general administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with data validation procedures to ensure high-quality data entry standards are met across all platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve data management processes.
- Handle basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, or other numerical data requirements with precision.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles with a focus on data entry or office support.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with pivot tables is preferred.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy to ensure efficient data input without errors.
- Familiarity with databases and ERP systems used for enterprise resource planning or inventory management.
- Knowledge of data collection methods and transcription techniques to accurately capture information from various sources.
- Basic math skills for handling numerical data confidently and accurately.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with filing systems—both electronic and physical—and maintaining well-organized records.
- Strong attention to detail to uphold high standards of data quality and integrity.
- Office experience that includes supporting administrative functions such as order entry, record keeping, and clerical support is highly desirable.
