KAM Consultants, a well-established NYC-based environmental consulting firm serving the Greater New York area, is seeking a, Full-Time experienced Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, personable, and comfortable working in a collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks
- Compile Excel worksheets and assist with report preparation
- Address and resolve queries from visitors and employees promptly.
- Greet and welcome visitors, answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff & take messages as necessary.
- Receive deliveries, order supplies, print labels
- Assist Senior Management in clerical duties, including correspondence, copying, compiling reports etc.
- Review invoices and submit for payment.
- Assist other departments with special projects as requested.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be proficient and extremely accurate with Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- +1 year relevant experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Canva, social media, or basic marketing/design tasks
- Comfortable supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced office environment
- Proactive mindset with an interest in improving office systems and workflows
