Data Entry Operator (DEO)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting, updating, and maintaining data related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of information and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Input Data: Accurately enter and update data from physical documents (e.g., invoices, packing slips, shipping logs) into the company's database.
• Maintain Records: Ensure all data records are current, organized, and easily accessible.
• Verify Accuracy: Cross-reference data to verify its accuracy and correct any discrepancies or errors.
• Generate Reports: Create and distribute reports on inventory levels, shipment statuses, and other key metrics as required by management.
• Coordinate: Work closely with warehouse staff, including forklift operators and inventory managers, to ensure data reflects physical inventory movements.
• Troubleshoot: Identify and report any technical issues with the data entry software or systems.
• Adhere to Procedures: Follow established company policies and procedures for data handling and security.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and a quick typing speed.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data input.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
