We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Operator to input, update, and maintain accurate data across various systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
- Input, update, and maintain data in company databases and systems with high accuracy.
- Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any incompatibilities.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company and client information.
- Generate reports and perform data analysis as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks and support other departments with data-related needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
- Fast typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment (e.g., scanners, printers).
