Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for typing all compounded prescriptions sent by prescribers to our pharmacy. This will require you to request formulations from our consultant pharmacist and accurately inputting and managing pharmacy data, ensuring seamless medication processing and patient care support. Your expertise will contribute to efficient pharmacy operations, especially within compounding. Responsibilities

• Enter and verify patient information, medication orders, and prescription data with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist in processing medication requests, including intake documentation for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration, IV infusion details, and pharmacy transactions.
• Follow aseptic techniques during data handling related to sterile preparations or IV infusions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Contribute to maintaining organized electronic health records (EHR) systems, supporting patient care continuity.

Experience

• Prior pharmacy technician experience is required, preferably within compounding pharmacy or hospital environments.
• Experience with medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and aseptic techniques is highly desirable. .
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive patient information accurately are essential.
