Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various databases and systems. Duties

  • Enter data into multiple databases, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and office applications with speed and accuracy
  • Verify data accuracy by reviewing source documents, cross-referencing records, and performing quality checks
  • Manage data collection processes by organizing and filing digital and physical records systematically
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, generate reports, and analyze data trends for internal use
  • Perform order entry tasks, ensuring timely processing of purchase orders and inventory updates
  • Transcribe audio recordings or handwritten notes into digital formats with attention to detail
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents and records
  • Support administrative tasks such as data cleaning, updating spreadsheets, and assisting with clerical duties as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative support in office environments
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—and familiarity with ERP systems and databases
  • Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
  • Experience with data collection methods, filing systems, and document management practices
  • Knowledge of pivot tables, order entry procedures, and transcription processes is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous office experience demonstrating reliability in handling sensitive information
