We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support production planning, order processing, and manufacturing documentation within our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist will support daily production and administrative operations by entering and maintaining manufacturing job data, processing customer orders, and managing production documentation within the company ERP system. This role works closely with production, purchasing, estimating, and management teams to ensure accurate job setup and efficient workflow throughout the manufacturing process.

Candidates with prior manufacturing, aerospace, machine shop, or industrial industry experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process new customer orders by creating part records, routing methods, and job information within the ERP system
• Review repeat orders and existing job travelers to update manufacturing methods and production details as needed
• Maintain and attach manufacturing documentation including setup sheets, tooling lists, work instructions, and related production records
• Enter sales orders and create manufacturing jobs with a strong emphasis on accuracy and data integrity
• Review prior job history, timecards, and production records to ensure consistency for repeat work
• Perform secondary reviews to verify order accuracy before releasing jobs to production
• Print and organize internal order acknowledgments
• Route purchasing-related documentation to the Purchasing Manager
• Assist with general administrative and production office support duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace, machine shop, or industrial environments preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems, manufacturing software, production planning systems, or shop management software strongly preferred
• Data entry and production office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
• Proficient computer and general office skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to read and work with manufacturing documentation preferred
