Data Entry & Systems Organization

REVEL is a nonprofit organization where teens and young adults on the autism spectrum and their peers come to connect, socialize, expand interests, hobbies and friendships while encouraging each other to become meaningful and active members in their community. REVEL pairs teens and young adults on the autism spectrum with their typical peers to build friendships and support and encourage each other through a positive mentor relationship.

Our purpose is to fight potential isolation, depression, unemployment and risk factors related to quality of life. We do this through developing meaningful relationships, independent living skills, employment, exploration and engagement in a range of leisure activities, recreational outings and exposure to various hobbies. Social and communication skills are fostered and facilitated throughout all activities and interactions. Members’ interests, strengths, and abilities drive choice of activities, friendships, work skills and classes. We train peers and mentors to guide and welcome members into a place they can call their own.

The Data Entry & Systems Organization volunteer supports REVEL's administrative and operational backbone. As REVEL grows, keeping data clean, organized, and accessible is essential to serving participants well, reporting outcomes to funders, and running programs efficiently. This is a great role for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and wants to make a meaningful behind-the-scenes impact.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify participant, donor, and program data across REVEL's systems and spreadsheets
  • Audit existing records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Help organize and standardize filing systems — digital folders, naming conventions, templates, and workflows
  • Assist with cleaning up databases or transitioning data between platforms as needed
  • Support staff with data pulls, reports, or tracking dashboards
  • Flag data gaps or inconsistencies and suggest improvements to data collection processes

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
  • Organized, methodical, and reliable — you notice when things are out of place
  • Experience with databases or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar) is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Self-directed and able to work independently; remote-friendly
