We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced remote Data Entry / Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated team. This role handles inbound customer calls, assists with medical supply orders, answers product inquiries, and processes order entry and data entry tasks accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

- Answer inbound calls professionally; assist customers promptly with order placement, product inquiries, and general support.

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and chat with clear and accurate information.

- Create and manage customer accounts using web-based sales software.

- Process orders for new and existing customers, accurately collecting shipping, billing, and payment information.

- Conduct manual debit and credit card transactions securely.

- Verify and input accurate order data, including SKUs, product specifications, quantities, and shipping/billing details.

- Cross-check order entries for errors or inconsistencies before submission, and follow up on submitted orders for status updates or issues.

- Communicate professionally with suppliers and logistics partners to troubleshoot and resolve fulfillment challenges.

- Document and maintain accurate digital records of customer interactions and order submissions per company procedures.

- Assist customers with website navigation and basic troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with team members to improve customer service workflows and data entry processes.

- Complete daily administrative tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

- At least 18 years old

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 2+ years of proven customer service experience

- 2+ years of data entry experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Strong active listening and telephone etiquette

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe; comfortable with web-based order processing software

- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple online systems efficiently

- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace

- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience or knowledge of medical supplies

- Experience working in a remote customer service environment

- Familiarity with CRM or order management platforms (Shopify experience a plus)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Ability to adapt to evolving processes and software tools

- Comfort handling sensitive customer information securely

Additional Information:

- Position type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

- Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Central Time)

- Background check required

- Regular camera use is required for meetings, onboarding, and training

- Potential future transition to in-office work based on organizational needs

- No medical/dental/401K benefits currently provided

Remote Work Expectations:

Working from home requires a professional environment that supports productivity and privacy. All remote employees are expected to have:

- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from household distractions

- A reliable high-speed internet connection

- A functioning webcam and microphone for virtual meetings and training sessions

- The ability to maintain professionalism while working independently

- Childcare and/or eldercare arrangements in place — remote work is not a substitute for caregiving

Agents must adhere to their assigned work schedule and be available during scheduled hours. Regular camera use is required for onboarding, team meetings, and performance check-ins.

- Web-based CRM and order processing platforms (e.g., Shopify)
