Data Governance BA NDMO

The Data Governance Business Analyst role involves interpreting and applying NDMO guidelines, including data classification, and re-validating evidence gathered for P1 & P2 NDMO controls, updating as applicable. The analyst will support the implementation and validation of P3 NDMO Controls, and perform compliance assessments using the CAST tool to identify and update all NDMO controls against gathered and reviewed evidence. A key responsibility is to ensure organizational data practices comply with national standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the review and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures across business units, and coordinating with risk, compliance, and business teams for governance alignment. This role acts as a liaison between the business and the Data Governance Office (DGO) team, facilitating training and onboarding for data stewards and owners across departments, enforcing data ownership and accountability structures, and engaging with business units to identify data ownership and develop domain mapping structures with sign-offs.
