We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist with strong expertise in NDMO standards and PDPL compliance to drive enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing data governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving data quality across the organization.

Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks aligned with NDMO guidelines

Define data policies, standards, and procedures for data management

Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models

Develop and maintain data governance operating models and roadmaps

Ensure organizational compliance with Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)

Define and enforce data privacy, classification, and protection policies

Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage data risks

Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

Define and implement data quality frameworks, metrics, and monitoring processes

Identify data quality issues and drive remediation initiatives
-
Collaborate with business and IT teams to improve data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Manage data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management processes

Ensure proper documentation of data assets and flows
-
Support implementation of data governance tools and platforms

Engage with business stakeholders to promote data governance best practices

Conduct training and awareness sessions on data governance and data privacy

Act as a bridge between business, IT, and compliance teams

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

5–10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles

Strong knowledge of NDMO data governance framework

Hands-on experience with PDPL compliance and data privacy regulations

CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certification is mandatory

Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.)

Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, and data lifecycle management

Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments

Familiarity with data architecture and data warehousing concepts

Knowledge of international data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR)
