Responsibilities

Design and develop comprehensive data integration architectures utilizing a variety of tools such as Informatica, Spark, and custom Java or Python solutions.
Lead the creation of scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to consolidate data from NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB, relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, as well as cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models, schemas, and standards that ensure consistency and quality across all data assets.
Implement best practices for big data processing using Hadoop, Spark, Azure Data Lake, and other distributed computing frameworks to handle large-scale datasets efficiently.
Develop and maintain secure, high-performance data warehouses supporting analytics initiatives through SQL optimization and database design.
Drive agile development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards for security and governance.
Stay ahead of emerging trends in linked data, cloud-based data lakes, NoSQL technologies, and analytics tools to continuously enhance our data architecture.

Requirements

Proven experience designing enterprise-level data integration solutions with a strong understanding of ETL processes, database design, and data modeling principles.
Hands-on expertise with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), and big data frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
Proficiency in programming languages including Java and Python for developing custom integration workflows.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure (Microsoft’s cloud platform), including services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
Strong knowledge of SQL scripting, Bash (Unix shell scripting), and database optimization techniques for high-performance analytics.
Experience working within Agile environments to deliver incremental value through continuous integration and deployment practices.
Excellent understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards relevant to enterprise data management.
