Data Management Analyst

Responsibilities

Lead data collection efforts by establishing efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Informatica, Talend, and Python to facilitate seamless data integration.
Utilize Tableau and other analytics platforms to create compelling dashboards and visualizations that support business insights and decision-making.
Manage projects related to data migration, system upgrades, or new platform implementations with a focus on project management best practices within Agile environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop linked data models that enhance data interoperability and support advanced analytics initiatives.
Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for process improvements while maintaining strict adherence to data governance standards.
Provide leadership in establishing best practices for database design, data collection methodologies, and overall data management processes.

Experience

Proven experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle or similar relational database systems.
Hands-on expertise in ETL tools including Informatica or Talend for efficient data integration workflows.
Strong knowledge of Big Data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop or Spark) for handling large-scale datasets.
Proficiency in Python programming for automation, scripting, and advanced data analysis tasks.
Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or comparable analytics tools.
Experience managing projects within Agile methodologies with a focus on project management principles.
Familiarity with Linked Data concepts and techniques for creating interconnected datasets that enhance analytics capabilities.
Excellent analysis skills complemented by strong communication abilities to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Leadership qualities with experience guiding teams or mentoring colleagues in best practices for data management and analytics.
