About the Role:
The Data Management Office Section Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of data management initiatives across the organization. This role will focus on establishing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality and integrity, and leveraging data analytics to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data management principles, and a track record of driving data initiatives in a complex environment
Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with organizational goals, focusing on data governance, quality, privacy, and analytics

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices

Data Quality Management: Design and implement processes and tools for data quality assessment, monitoring, and improvement across the organization

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing data management team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and management, including IT, business operations, and analytics, to facilitate data sharing, integration, and collaboration

Data Architecture and Modeling: Oversee the development and maintenance of data architecture and models that support efficient data management and utilization

Analytics and Reporting: Drive the development of data analytics capabilities and reporting frameworks to enable informed decision-making at all levels of the organization

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs, prioritize initiatives, and communicate progress and result

Risk Management: Identify potential data-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the organization
Qualifications

bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred in data or related.

(5) to (8) years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles, with a minimum of [3] years in a leadership capacity

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and analytics concepts.
