Overview
We are seeking a Data Manager to ensure that documents and records are properly maintained, securely stored, and easily accessible within the Client's OS operational ecosystem. This is a critical support role, responsible for organizing files, maintaining compliance-ready documentation, and preventing the mishandling or leakage of sensitive data.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a discreet working style, and a proactive attitude toward digital file management and data hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Organization
- Maintain well-structured digital and (if applicable) physical filing systems
- Apply consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and version control
- Ensure all files are stored in the correct location and are easily retrievable
Data Security & Confidentiality
- Monitor access rights and permissions to sensitive files
- Prevent unauthorized access, sharing, or leakage of confidential information
- Immediately escalate any breach, irregularity, or missing data
File Checks & Internal Audits
- Perform routine document audits to verify presence, accuracy, and updates
- Maintain a critical file checklist (compliance, legal, finance, HR, etc.)
- Update and secure an external hard drive backup regularly
Support to Teams
- Assist internal teams by retrieving relevant documents quickly
- Provide the latest versions of files when needed for meetings or reviews
- Prepare documents for audit or compliance inspections.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years in administration, document control, or records management
- Excellent command of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and file organization skills
- Awareness of data security and confidentiality protocols
- Able to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
- Experience with AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Notion, n8n)
- Proactive and methodical working style; discreet and reliable
- Age group: 25–30 preferred.
- Able to conduct basic R&D in the tech/data space.
Preferred Background
- Prior role as an office assistant, data administrator, or operations staff.
- Experience working with confidential data or legal/compliance documents.
- Comfortable working in startup environments or lean operational teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month
