This position provides professional administrative services to the Dean, Department Heads and faculty by providing organized data for data analysis, accreditation, and other reporting purposes.
Job Description
- Data entry and maintenance of databases housing score reporting mandated by state, regional and national governance Bodies as well as the College of Education for the purposes of accreditation, i.e., Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) content and Educational Teacher Performance Assessment (EdTPA) scores, Disposition Scores, and Student Teaching Observation Tool.
- Data entry and maintenance of student information database which includes all student academic and program performance data.
- Collaborate with faculty identify key indicators for the Unit Assessment System (UAS)
- Use the database to generate aggregated and disaggregated student reports for faculty analysis.
- Use Qualtrics to obtain data necessary for feedback and to inform decisions and operations in the College of Education.
- Coordinate database system to track student progress in the departments for CAEP accreditation review, including Specialty Program Area (SPA) reporting.
- Aggregate data reports of faculty teaching evaluations.
- Using information and guidance provided by the Quality Assurance Committees, generate assessment reports for faculty analysis.
- Track, chart and generate data from Field-Base and Partnership initiatives for programmatic analysis.
- Create and monitor electronic survey systems for the COE including the Office of Field Placement and Outreach.
- Use Statistical Program i.e., Social Sciences (SPSS) to accomplish the creation and organized sharing of student data.
- Serve as a resource in monthly Dean Council and Teacher.
- Education Advisory Council (TEAC).
- Provide an annual review and audit of shared drive used to collect evidence.
- Consult in departmental assessment meetings.
- Consult on necessary redesigns of all reports.
- Design and facilitate inter-rater reliability workshops.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in an educational or related field with a minimum of two courses in statistics.
- Two (2) years (24 months) of educational and/or other research experience.
Illinois residency is required within 180 days of employment.

Data management: 1 year (Preferred)
