A glimpse of your typical workday

The Data Manager will play a strategic and leadership role in establishing trusted, governed, and business-ready data across the Hattan Group. The role is responsible for building a single source of truth, improving data quality across operational systems, and enabling accurate reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

This role will also prepare the organization for future adoption of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), enabling operational efficiency, customer insights, and enhanced digital experiences across all brands and business units.

The Data Manager will work across business and technology teams to establish a strong data culture, governance framework, and scalable data architecture aligned with enterprise strategy.

Data Governance & Ownership

• Define, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance framework across the organization.
• Establish clear data ownership and stewardship across business domains and legal entities.
• Define and enforce data policies, standards, naming conventions, and business definitions.
• Maintain governance artefacts, standards, and documentation in GDT SharePoint and knowledge repositories.

Data Architecture & Platform Strategy

• Own and design end-to-end data architecture covering operational systems, integration layers, data platforms, and analytics environments.
• Design and manage centralized data repository and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Work closely with Enterprise Solution Architect to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead adoption and optimization of modern data platforms including Microsoft ecosystem technologies such as:

Analytics & Reporting Enablement

• Deliver enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities supporting leadership and business operations.
• Standardize dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks across brands and business units.
• Enable self-service analytics capabilities while maintaining governance and data consistency.
• Partner with Digital and Business teams to deliver actionable insights and performance analytics.

Business & Cross-Technology Collaboration

• Partner with Enterprise Applications, Digital, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure alignment of data requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and priorities initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable data solutions.
• Security, Privacy & Compliance
• Ensure data management practices comply with regulatory, privacy, and internal security policies.

What makes you stand out

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, or enterprise analytics roles.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft data ecosystem preferred (Fabric, Azure Data Services, Dataverse, Power BI).
• Experience working within ERP and enterprise application environments (Oracle, D365, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting multi-brand, multi-entity, or distributed business environments is highly desirable.
• Experience preparing organizations for advanced analytics, ML, or AI adoption is preferred.
