Role Overview - We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Developer to lead and execute end-to-end migration projects from SAP ERP systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP data structures, Dynamics 365 data models, and proven experience in designing and implementing robust migration strategies ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data migration plans from SAP to Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations / CRM).
- Perform data extraction from SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.) using tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW, or BODS.
- Map SAP data structures to Dynamics 365 entities ensuring accurate transformation.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using tools such as KingswaySoft, SSIS, Azure Data Factory.
- Conduct data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure migration accuracy.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business teams to define migration scope and rules.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and GDPR standards during migration.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration scripts, and post-migration reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in data migration projects, with at least 2+ years in SAP to Dynamics 365 migrations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP data structures and Dynamics 365 data model.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (like KingswaySoft, SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Experience in data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Azure services for data integration and migration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
