Data Migration Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategize and execute complex data migrations, ensuring accurate preservation of legacy data structures and pricing models.
• Handle pricing and configuration mismatches during migration and provide robust troubleshooting solutions.
• Design strategies for migrating bundle products where legacy standalone items map to bundled items in the target system.
• Validate totals, configurations, and complex calculations post-migration to ensure data integrity.
• Perform Master Data Management (MDM) migrations including data deduplication using key columns or fuzzy logic.
• Implement attribute-level merge strategies for duplicate records.
• Conduct data cleansing activities, including VAT validation, address validation, and format standardization.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and migration. Willingness to learn Safe FME for advanced ETL tasks.
• Develop and utilize Python scripts for automation and data manipulation (knowledge preferred, willingness to learn required).
• Work with SOAP and REST APIs for data integration and validation, using Postman for testing.
• Utilize SQL for data querying, updates, merging, and aggregation operations.
• Work with data warehouses such as Snowflake (preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and smooth migration execution.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience in data migration, ETL, or data integration projects.
• Strong expertise in SQL: SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, MERGE, joins (inner, outer, full), and aggregation.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation, and deduplication processes.
• Proficiency in building data pipelines for ETL.
• Knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs and API validation tools (Postman).
• Experience in MDM data migration is required.
• I am willing to learn new ETL tools (Safe FME) and programming languages (Python).

Optional (Preferred) Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ objects such as Quote, Quote Line, Order, and Order Item.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Understanding Salesforce CPQ pricing, product bundles, and configuration rules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,025.87 - ₹220,000.00 per month
