Data Privacy Consultant

,Job Description:

A Qualified Data Privacy Consultant to implement a comprehensive data privacy framework, including the development of policies, processes procedures, and controls, in compliance with Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (PDPPL) and international standards such as the GDPR and other privacy laws & regulations.

The consultant will lead and be primarily responsible for closing the data privacy gaps identified in the recent Integrated Data Privacy Assessment. This includes driving and coordinating cross-functional efforts across IMT-Governance, IMT, Legal, HR, GREC, and other relevant teams, ensuring active contribution and accountability. The consultant will work closely with these teams to develop, draft, enhance, and implement the required documentation, policies, procedures, processes and related content necessary to remediate the identified gaps. In addition, the consultant will monitor, manage, and maintain the data privacy program end-to-end to ensure sustained compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Local Hire ( If Possible )

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data privacy implementations

• Demonstrated expertise with Qatar PDPPL, GDPR, HIPAA, or other globally accepted privacy/

regulatory frameworks

• Healthcare industry experience, particularly with patient data protection requirements

• Experience implementing privacy frameworks in organizations of similar scale

• Certification in data privacy (ISO27701, CDPSE, CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent)

• A Certification in Data Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of healthcare data protection challenges and solutions

• Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies, data discovery tools and security

monitoring solutions.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
