Data Protection Specialist

An organization announces the availability of a Data Protection Specialist position to ensure compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and related regulations, and to enhance privacy practices and data governance.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.
• Develop, review, and update data protection and privacy policies and procedures.
• Manage Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Utilize the OneTrust platform to manage compliance, risk, and privacy consent management.
• Handle data breach or leakage incidents and report them in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide advisory and consultative support to internal departments on data protection and privacy matters.
• Prepare periodic reports and submit them to the relevant management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or information security.
• Solid knowledge of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
• Practical experience or working knowledge of the OneTrust platform.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in data protection or privacy (such as CIPP, CIPM).
• Certified training or hands-on experience with the OneTrust platform.
• Previous experience in the government sector

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼9,000.00 - ﷼9,500.00 per month
