  • Apply in-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, including IMO, EU MRV, CORSIA, EEXI/EEDI, and CII, to guide accurate vessel data collection, validation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate proactively with vessel crews, customers, and Classification Societies to resolve high-priority data discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate submissions for verification.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to define data quality requirements, influence platform enhancements, and support the integration of regulatory changes into data pipelines.
  • Bring strong domain expertise in maritime data and vessel performance to provide industry insights, act as a subject matter expert, and mentor junior analysts.
  • Leverage experience with Classification Society portals such as DNV Veracity to streamline data exchange and support efficient verification workflows.

Your profile:

  • Three or more years of hands-on experience working with maritime data, including strong understanding of vessel reporting structures, operational data such as fuel consumption, bunkering, noon reports, and vessel technical specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations related to emissions verification, including EU MRV, IMO DCS, CII, and EEXI, with practical experience applying these regulations in data quality and compliance processes.
  • One or more years of direct experience supporting data verification with Classification Societies such as DNV, Class NK, and LR, along with familiarity with their data submission requirements and portal tools such as DNV Veracity.
  • Advanced analytical and technical skills, with strong proficiency in SQL, Python for data manipulation, advanced Excel, and internal data quality platforms, enabling identification of complex data patterns and resolution of technical data issues.
  • Excellent English communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal teams, vessel management, and external stakeholders including Classification Societies during complex data correction and verification activities.
