Data Quality Engineer (Healthcare Sector)
Type: Full-time, 6-month contract(This is an in-person office-based position with optional/per request business trips to Saudi Arabia)
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Data Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure the integrity of our healthcare data solutions. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in the healthcare industry while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to identify anomalies and improve data reliability.
● Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to establish best practices for data governance and quality standards.
● Work with stakeholders to define data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
● Investigate and resolve data quality issues, providing root cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
● Stay updated on healthcare industry standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and compliance requirements to ensure data handling aligns with regulatory guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
● Must skill: Experience: 3+ years in a data quality, data engineering, or related role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages. Experience with data quality tools such as Apache Griffin, Talend, Informatica is a plus.
● Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address complex data quality challenges.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
● Language: English - Upper intermediate, Arabic - Advanced.
