About The Position

We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join the Flalingo team. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in Data Preprocessing, OpenAI Eval, and Prompt Engineering.

This role is a perfect opportunity for students who want to strengthen their technical and analytical skills while working on cutting-edge AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform data preprocessing: cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets for analysis
• Conduct OpenAI Eval tasks to assess and benchmark model output quality
• Design, test, and optimize prompts as part of prompt engineering workflows
• Analyze model performance and share actionable insights with the team
• Support the development of new AI-powered product features using data-driven approaches
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Solid foundation in Python and data analysis libraries (pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Interest in machine learning, NLP, and large language models (LLMs)
• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs or other LLM-based systems is a plus
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
