Data Science Tutor

We are looking for Data Science Tutor on Part-time basis for our Level 7 in Data Science Program.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data Science Instructor for our Level 7 in Data Science Program to teach weekend classes tailored for foreign learners. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for professionals who want to contribute to global education while managing other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive and engaging online classes on weekends to international students.
• Design and update course materials tailored to the needs of foreign learners (language clarity, examples, cultural relevance).
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to students on projects and assignments.
• Conduct assessments and track student progress.
• Communicate effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds and time zones.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum and teaching practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s/Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of teaching or training experience (online preferred).
• Proficient in Python, SQL, machine learning, data visualization, and tools like Jupyter, Pandas, scikit-learn.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Experience working with non-native English speakers is a plus.
• Flexibility to teach on weekends (timezone adjustments may apply).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in international or multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Google Classroom).
• Certifications in Data Science or related fields (e.g., from Coursera, edX, Udacity, etc.).
• Classes will be on weekends
• Must have minimum 2 years teaching experience in Data Science
• Looking for a long term association
