Job Description

Avodha Edutech is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science Tutor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to guide students in understanding complex data science concepts in a simple and practical manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in Data Science, including topics such as:
• Python programming
• Data analysis & data visualization
• SQL & database management
• Machine learning algorithms
• Statistics for data science
• Data preprocessing & model building
• Deliver live classes, recorded lectures, and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and practical projects.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in real-world projects and portfolio-building
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality academic delivery and maintain classroom discipline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, Scikit-learn, and basic ML models.
• Good understanding of statistics, probability, and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Prior teaching/training experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced topics like deep learning, NLP, or data engineering.
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Certification(s) in Data Science or related technologies.
