Job Summary:

Data Scientist to play a critical role in building the next generation machine learning applications and services for the global sourcing and procurement operations. The candidate will be part of a team with a goal to innovate and build data driven solutions to support sourcing and procurement operations. We are one of the fastest growing teams across Amazon with strong technology orientation.

As an Data Scientist, he will have the opportunity to play a key role in driving the development of key features for our customers. He will take on challenging problems and deliver solutions that either leverage existing academic and industrial research, or utilize his own out-of-the-box pragmatic thinking.

Key job responsibilities:

• Analyse and extract relevant information from large amounts of data to help automate and optimize key processes.

• Research, develop and implement novel machine learning, LLM and statistical approaches for improving the user experience in the procurement domain.

• Use machine learning and analytical techniques to create scalable solutions for business problems.

Skill Sets :

• 5+ years of building models for business application experience
• Experience programming in Python
• Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
