Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Scientist with 2+ years of hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models and performing data analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, statistical knowledge, and experience working with data visualization tools and Python-based data science frameworks.
Experience in training or mentoring interns in data science or analytics will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis.
• Design and develop predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Analyze datasets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns to support business decisions.
• Build data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly).
• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Train and guide interns or junior team members on real-world data projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science technologies.
• Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based tools).
• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms (Regression, Classification, Clustering, etc.).
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with deep learning or NLP frameworks (Keras, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, etc.).
• Knowledge of Big Data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for data storage and ML deployment.
• Experience using Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and version control systems.
• Prior experience mentoring or training data science interns.
• Understanding of business intelligence, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
