Ghamut Corporation is a boutique AI and strategy consultancy; we build scalable machine learning systems and deliver empirical analysis under ambiguity for global pharmaceutical firms, federal health agencies, major foundations, and large financial institutions.
The Role:
We are hiring a full-time data scientist who can own end-to-end technical engagements; from problem framing to deployment, and from analysis to polished client presentations. You will typically be the primary technical lead on an engagement, supported by a founding partner who provides oversight and reviews key deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical execution of client projects from start to finish.

Define a defensible technical approach in ambiguous problem spaces.

Collect, clean, and analyze data; produce clear visualizations and dashboards.

Train, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models.

Build deployable systems using Python backends and modern front-end tooling.

Host solutions on AWS; manage infrastructure-as-code.

Produce polished outputs; codebases, dashboards, reports, and client-facing slide decks.

Communicate progress and risks early; deliver professional, timely results.
Work Model, Hours and Reporting:

The position is Fully remote.

Ghamut operates in Eastern Time (ET); U.S.-based employees are expected to work primarily during 9am to 5pm ET but may need to work after hours if performance expectations are not met.

Formal business attire is required for any client-facing meetings (including video meetings).
Compensation and benefits

Base salary is determined using U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data; your position within the range is assessed using the criteria defined by the National Compensation Survey (NCS).
