About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious
Data Scientist
to join our growing Data & AI team at Tarmeez Capital . As a fresh graduate, you will work on real-world problems involving
large language models (LLMs)
,
predictive analytics
, and
classical data science & machine learning techniques
. You will help build data-driven products that power business impacting insights, automation, and intelligent decision-making across our organization.
Key Responsibility

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to identify opportunities for data-driven impact.

Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and natural language processing to real business problems.

Assist in fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs for use cases such as document understanding, classification, and financial analysis.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model experimentation.

Build and validate predictive models using classical algorithms (e.g., regression, clustering, tree-based models).
-
Visualize findings and communicate actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
-
Help deploy models and data services into production, and monitor their performance over time.
-
Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, ML, and generative models, and propose innovative ways to apply them.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
-
Strong knowledge of Python and common data science libraries like (pandas, numpy, etc..).
-
Familiarity with LLMs and NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI API, Cohere, Gemini, etc.).

Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (classification, regression, clustering, evaluation metrics).

Experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques.
-
Exposure to data visualization tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau.
-
Good understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis techniques.

Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn new tools quickly.
Preferred Skills
-
Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning or prompt engineering.
-
Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or any data warehouse .
-
Basic experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Understanding MLOps, Git, and version control.
-
Coursework or projects in AI, deep learning, or data visualization.
