About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with strong healthcare domain expertise to join our analytics team. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning to solve complex problems in healthcare, such as improving patient outcomes, reducing costs, predicting risks, and supporting value-based care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large and complex healthcare datasets (claims, EHR/EMR, enrollment, lab, pharmacy, etc.)
Design and implement predictive models (e.g., readmission risk, disease progression, cost forecasting)
Develop dashboards and reports to translate insights into actionable recommendations for clinical or business stakeholders
- Perform cohort analysis, utilization review, and outcomes measurement
- Work closely with clinicians, business teams, and data engineers to define KPIs and success metrics
- Contribute to the design of data pipelines and feature engineering workflows
- Present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with at least 2 years in healthcare
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (ICD, CPT, NPI, DRG, HL7/FHIR)
- Experience with healthcare data types: claims, EMR/EHR, encounter, HIE, lab, pharmacy, etc.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with risk adjustment models (e.g., CMS-HCC), quality measures (HEDIS, STAR)
- Experience in payer, provider, or ACO settings
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy practices
- Ability to work in cross-functional agile teams

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
