Data Scientist II

The Data Scientist 2 will independently design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to address complex business challenges within the financial sector. This role requires a strong understanding of data science methodologies, proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, and the ability to translate business needs into effective analytical solutions.

The Data Scientist 2 will collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings with increasing independence.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or a related discipline with excellent academic record.

Experience: 0-3 years of experience, including internships or academic projects. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

Technical Skills: o Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Basic knowledge of software development frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django, React).

Basic experience with databases (SQL).

Understanding basic software design principles.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Basic familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. •
