Data Scientist (Python) role

We are an innovative product development software startup. Our customer list includes one of the top 3 reinsurance companies in the world. In the recent years, we have developed an innovative software for handling aircraft technical records. We are looking for a stellar data scientist who can understand and implement advanced text processing, image processing and document classification algorithms on our software platform.If you are a data scientist looking forward to seeing your product being used by some of the multi-billion dollar companies, to work with smartest colleagues, learn applied data science then this role is for you.

You will contribute in an agile fashion to product development.

Responsibilities
· Develop and/or implement text processing, NLP and image processing algorithms
· Deploy algorithms in scalable infrastructures using Python programming
· Ensure code developed and deployed is bug free and scalable
· Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
· Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
· Collaborate with the engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
· Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
· At least 1 - 2 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modelling
· Deep understanding of predictive modelling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
· Experience with OpenCV, Keras, Tensorflow and similar frameworks is a must
· Fluency in Python programming language

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹105,572.71 - ₹127,141.34 per year
