Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Data Scientist Trainer to teach 2nd Semester B.Sc. and BCA students. The trainer will be responsible for delivering foundational concepts of data science, programming, statistics, and data analysis, using practical, student-friendly teaching methods aligned with the university syllabus.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core Data Science subjects to 2nd semester B.Sc. and BCA students
• Explain fundamental concepts such as:
• Introduction to Data Science
• Python Programming / R (basics)
• Data Types and Data Handling
• Basic Statistics and Probability
• Data Visualization concepts
• Conduct practical lab sessions and hands-on exercises
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical exams
• Guide students in mini-projects and real-world data examples
• Stay updated with current trends in data science and analytics
• Maintain academic discipline and mentor students when required

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Data Science / Computer Science / Statistics / IT / AI / ML
• (Bachelor’s degree with strong industry experience may be considered)
• Prior teaching or training experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib basics)
• Statistics fundamentals
• Data analysis conceptsSkills Required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• Classroom management and student engagement skills
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL – optional but preferred)

Experience

• 1–5 years of teaching or industry experience in Data Science or related fields
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply

Tools & Technologies

• Python, Jupyter Notebook
• Excel / Google Sheets
• Basic SQL
• Data Visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn – basics)
