We’re looking for a Data Specialist to join our MPACT team. In this role, you’ll support our drivers and national accounts by authorizing charges, resolving billing issues, and coordinating maintenance needs — ensuring efficient, accurate, and reliable service across our network.

What You’ll Do

  • Answer calls, respond to customer requests, and provide accurate information or route inquiries appropriately
  • Locate local maintenance vendors for on-the-road drivers
  • Assist drivers with tire pricing and authorizations through Mercer’s preferred national account vendors
  • Approve maintenance loans up to $1,500 per driver and $3,000 for tires
  • Issue purchase order numbers and EFS money codes for maintenance loans
  • Process vendor invoices, prepare check requests, and forward to Accounts Payable
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and mediate disputes between drivers and vendors
  • Maintain organized and accurate records for drivers and vendors

Essential Skills and Experience


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and procedures.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in data entry and office software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
