Job Title: SQL Developer (Data - Extractor framework)
About the Role
We are looking for SQL Developer with strong programming fundamentals and experience in data extraction frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and maintain automated tools for large-scale data scraping, integration, and transformation. You will work across diverse data sources, build reliable pipelines, and ensure high-quality, consistent data delivery. Your work will directly enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data extraction and web scraping tools using Python.
- Powerful in T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS as it is the primary language used to support the tool.
- Extract structured and unstructured data from databases, APIs, and online sources.
- Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats (CSV, JSON, SQL databases).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation and error handling.
- Implement and maintain DB connectivity in Python (Oracle Client, SQL Server). Experience with Python scripting
- Monitor scrapers and integrations for performance; adapt quickly to site/API changes.
- Build and maintain alerts, notifications, and monitoring via Splunk, CyberArk, SMTP/DBMail.
- Develop and manage PowerShell scripting, CMD and WINSCP and experience with similar file processing utilities.
- Experience integrating tools with SPLUNK for monitoring and CyberArk for Password storage and retrieval.
- Manage network and system-level aspects (ports, firewalls, file shares, compression utilities).
- Schedule and orchestrate jobs, event triggers, file polling, and watchers.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Document processes, maintain repositories (GitHub/GitLab), and follow best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS & Python programming fundamentals (data structures, OOP, error handling, code optimization).
- Good knowledge of SQL scripting and database connectivity in Python (Oracle Client, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in SQL query design, schema design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Hands-on experience with web scraping frameworks and libraries using Python
- Proficiency in working with databases (SQL) and common formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet).
- Familiarity with alerts/monitoring systems (Splunk, CyberArk, SMTP, DBMail).
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Cygwin, GNU utilities, and FTP scripting.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: ports, firewalls, file shares/mounts, compression (gzip).
- Experience in job scheduling, orchestration, event triggers, and file watchers.
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of regular expressions, data normalization, and data quality checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
