Data Systems Specialist

RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Data Systems Specialist to join our team! This position will be part of our dynamic Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) department and will play an integral role in keeping our data systems running and creating a foundation for data-driven and impactful service delivery.

As the Data Systems Specialist you are detail-oriented who will work well within an energetic highly productive team. (Please note: this is not an IT position.) As a Data Systems Specialist, you will be the primary support contact at the agency for our electronic health record. You will play a crucial supportive role in data collection, auditing, reporting, analysis, and systems management. You will collaborate closely with the Data Systems Coordinator and division leaders to ensure accurate and meaningful data is available to drive decision-making and improve our services. You will conduct routine analyses on process and outcome data – evaluating the impact of our work on the people we serve – and support agency data initiatives.

You have excellent abilities in utilizing a variety of computer systems – Excel and other Microsoft office applications (required), electronic health record systems (a plus), and business intelligence tools (a plus). You are a detail-oriented and well-organized analytical thinker with strong task and time management skills. You will have a strong understanding of data systems , possess excellent analytical skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You have experience conducting data composition and analysis and are energized when data starts telling you stories. You have excellent customer service skills, can maintain a sense of patience when juggling multiple priorities, and enjoy coaching others to be curious about data. Most importantly, you enjoy being part of a strong team, yet feel comfortable going it on your own when needed. Previous experience in human services and a Bachelor’s degree are a plus.
