About the Project:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Taxonomy Expert to support a consulting project in the financial sector. The project involves designing, implementing, and optimizing a comprehensive data taxonomy framework to enhance data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assess existing data structures and taxonomies within the financial organization.

· Develop a robust, scalable, and industry-compliant data taxonomy framework.

· Collaborate with business units and data management teams to align taxonomy with organizational objectives.

· Provide recommendations for data standardization, classification, and governance practices.

· Deliver clear documentation, guidelines, and best practices for future use.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in data taxonomy, data classification, or data governance, preferably in the financial sector.

· Strong understanding of financial data types, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Hands-on experience with data management tools and metadata repositories.

· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines.
