Job Description:

• Determination and implementation of the bank’s data warehouse, big data platform and data management strategies,
• End-to-end management of data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse and real-time data processing architectures,
• Ensuring compliance of data security, access management, data quality and regulatory compliance (KVKK, BRSA, PCI-DSS, etc.),
• Managing platform performance, scalability, high availability and continuity plans,
• Carrying out roadmap, resource planning and prioritization of data-oriented projects,
• Performing vendor management, licensing, capacity and budget planning,
• Coordinating with information security, internal audit and risk teams,
• Technical leadership and mentoring,
• Management of team goals and performance,
• Creating career development plans,
• Managing project budget, capacity planning and SLA management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Computer, Software, or related disciplines)
• 9+ years of experience in related fields,
• Having experience in banking or financial institutions and at least 5 years of experience in the field of data warehouse and big data,
• Proven experience in team management and leadersip at least 3 years,
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in SQL, ETL/ELT tools, Big data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, etc.), NoSQL (MongoDB, Couchbase), RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.),
• Knowledge of banking data models such as risk, finance, credit, customer, operational data,
• Awareness of data security, data governance and regulatory compliance,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills,
• Good command of written and oral English.
