Database Administrator

Job Summary:

The Database Administrator (MSSQL) is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of databases in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing MSSQL databases, troubleshooting performance issues, performing regular backups, and implementing disaster recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server instances and databases across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
• Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize query performance and overall database efficiency.
• Backup & Recovery: Design and implement database backup strategies, perform regular backups, and ensure data recovery processes are in place for disaster recovery scenarios.
• Security Management: Implement and manage database security policies, including user roles and permissions, encryption, and auditing to ensure data protection.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues (e.g., performance, connectivity, security) and provide timely support to end-users and development teams.

Experience: Min 5 yrs

Education: BE./B.TECH / MCA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
