Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments across multiple platforms including OCI, Azure, ExaCC, and on-premise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle, MS SQL, and MySQL databases, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and reliability within managed service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer client database environments while ensuring security, integrity, and availability.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database systems and related tools.
• Perform database backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshooting issues proactively.
• Manage databases across OCI, Azure, ExaCC, and on-premise platforms.
• Implement performance tuning strategies to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Ensure database compliance, security standards, and best practices are maintained.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to resolve database-related issues.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for database improvements and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS, ATP, database architecture, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience managing complex database environments within managed service operations.
• Exposure to cloud database platforms such as OCI and Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
