Job Description: Database Administrator (DBA)

Vivacious Hospitality is looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is essential for managing and optimizing our database environments to support our operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
• Develop and optimize database queries, procedures, and functions for improved data access and application performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas that meet operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with performance tuning techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

• Salary: QAR 30 - QAR 70 per hour, based on experience.
• Location: 88 Luxe Avenue, Doha, Qatar.
