Database Administrator (PostgreSQL)

Job Description :

Job title : Data Base Administrator (DBA)

Location : Remote

Required Skills :

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (version 11+ preferred).
• Expertise in query optimization and performance tuning techniques.
• Strong knowledge of indexing strategies, materialized views, and partitioning.
• Strong experience in backup & recovery tools:
• pg_dump, pg_restore, pg_basebackup
• Barman / WAL-G / PITR
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL / Azure PostgreSQL / GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) concepts.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python) is an added advantage.
